Co-sponsored by BMI, the 2017 Las Vegas Book Festival features the acclaimed writer & New Yorker poetry editor Kevin Young and the essayist José Orduña. Publishers Dawn Davis (37 INK) and Richard Nash (formerly Soft Skull Press) will take the stage for a beginners-friendly Q&A on all things getting published -- writers: submit your publishing questions in advance online. The festival also features Daniel Handler ("Lemony Snicket") and Sharon Draper, plus: Brit Bennett, Tom Bissell, Carina Chocano, Zinzi Clemmons, Dwight Garner, Tod Goldberg, Virginia HeffernanAmanda FortiniWalter Kirn, and local heroes Michael Green, Geoff Schumacher, and Steve Sebelius.
